Course Content: The Screen Acting course will be based on ‘METHOD ACTING’ as per Stanislavski’s system.
The course would have basics of Acting covering introductory module exercises around (1) Action Problem, (2) Improvisation, (3) Movement, (4) Sense Memory exercise, (5) Diction, (6) Monologue, (7) Playback Singing, (8) Scene Work etc. As a part of course, you may also be taught ‘How to face camera/ mobile’ wherein after 17 – 18 days of teaching you may be asked to perform in front of camera/ mobile and you may then take your performance on your hard disk/ pen drive.

BASIC FILM ORIENTATION

Course Content: The course introduces fundamental technology, theory, history, techniques and applications of film making & photography. It includes artistic & aesthetic analysis of student-created short films. It would also focus on understanding the creative eye behind the camera and how to develop the skill of storytelling using Camera.
The course objectives are to understand (1)concept to scriptwriting, (2) basic camera operations, (3) basic cinema language, (4) basics of Editing & Post Production, (5) proper archive & techniques and (6) Finally, making of a film of around 03 minutes duration, in a group, as final exercise.
Initially, participants will be having few theory classes followed by hands-on practical exercises using camera, lights, reflectors, microphones etc leading to a final project.
