• Introduction of a feature length documentary film by the filmmaker
• Screening of the film.
• Intensive session with the filmmaker – authorial approaches: analyses and critical deconstruction of the film – content, structure, narrative treatment and creative strategies.

DAY 3

• Different genres and approach to documentaries – excerpts from some internationally acclaimed films and their critical deconstruction – intent, directorial innovation, cinematography and editing. 
Session 6 / Afternoon / 2:00 p.m. – 5 p.m.
• Introduction of another acclaimed documentary film by filmmaker.
• Screening of the film.
• Intensive session with the filmmaker –authorial approaches: analyses and critical deconstruction of the film – content, structure, narrative treatment and creative strategies.

DAY 4

• Participants’ feedback and open discussions with the mentors and filmmakers present.
Session 8 / Afternoon / 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

In Frame 2.0-Basics of Photography Workshop

Understand the art and science behind photography in this weekend only workshop. It takes a practical approach to explaining the basics of digital camera operation and explores methods of creating visually dynamic photographs. An introduction to post production and output to print will also be taught.  

Learn the key elements that are so critical to taking great photos – exposure control, metering, shutter, aperture, ISO, white balance, lens selection and creative controls.

Hitesh Adwani is a self taught photographer and cinematographer, works as a Producer in film shoots. He is the founder member of Jaipur Photography Club and has been conducting Photography workshops at national (with Times Media Group) as well as at international level with various NGOs in middle eastern countries.

Shobhit Tiwari is a professional photographer driven by creativity and in-camera excellence. He holds a Guinness World Record for most number of light orbs(900).He is associated with several brands like Skoda, Rajasthan Tourism,  Oneplus, Zostel etc. Creating extraordinary results with ordinary equipments is the ideology that he strives for.

Participants apart from learning basic camera handling skills, will also develop a propensity to frame and capture important moments. At the end of the workshop, which would include photography walks, students will have to present their work in front of their peers to be analysed by the mentors.

A team of enthusiastic lightpainters who share the same passion & determination in creating stand-out lightpainting captures. Our goal is to make people try this beautiful art of lightpainting atleast once as it is an extraordinary art form requiring great patience, determination & presence of mind. For us, its like meditation providing great sense of fulfillment as we can create the reality we want. The idea is to expand the lightpainting community of India to global horizons & making a mark worldwide.

Suhasini Tiwari engineer by profession, artist by choice, Suhasini Tiwari has mastered the art of posing still for longer  durations,  in long exposures. She brings detailed artistic insights in the process of creating extraordinary lightpaintings which is of great help.

A DSLR and tripod

Through this workshop, students would be able to understand light-its optimum use in photography, differentiation between harsh light & diffused light, tracing light movements & creating exclusive images through them without using high-end equipments or overtly priced gadgets. The class will also get to know about different tools used in lpp, their designing & assembly. Overall, this workshop is going to add to the skills of the participants & guide them towards an underexposed field of photography i.e. Light painting thus expanding their areas of interest, exploration & expertise.

We bring to you, ‘Prologue: A Short Story Writing Workshop’, which focuses on de structuring the elements of storytelling. The workshop entails introduction to fiction writing with an emphasis on plot, narrative, character building, backstory, motivation, need and want. An interactive workshop which will guide you through the process of short story writing from inception till its end.

Kartik Bajoria, a New York Film Academy alumnus, he has a diverse career that includes Writing across various media. He is a Media Studies Consultant at Edify World School, and has also branched out as a Ghost Writer, an independent Personality-Development, Creative Writing & Communications Instructor, conducting Short & Long-Term Workshops at various schools & stand-alone locations. Kartik continues to pursue his Educational as well as Content Creation endeavours, balancing both, always mindful of doing work that embodies a strong social conscience.

Contemporary theatre and performance course aimed at activating all the senses, the dynamism within the body, emotions, voice and imagination.
