Dark Gallery

The TOSS campus houses a splendid space designed to exhibit artworks, photographs and installations. We call it The Dark Gallery.

A brick flooring, keeping in mind the soaring summer temperatures of Rajasthan, and plain white walls to bring all the attention to the art… The Dark Gallery is designed so as to elevate the artwork on display there. It is entirely dark save the focus lights trained on the artworks and footlights to guide visitors as they absorb the art as music appropriate to the artist’s style and mood wafts softly on. Exhibiting artists are given the opportunity to choose scores that complement their work. It also makes for a perfect space for creative shoots.

The Dark Gallery has been deliberately planned thus to keep the viewers’ attention undivided and directed at the pieces on display. Designed on the philosophy of artistic freedom, this space can be moulded according to artists’ vision of how their art ought to be exhibited.
